Usually time outs are for kids but in this case it's his dad being punished during a hockey game... I love the way the child still looks up to his dad with admiration and a bit of wonder.
I live in Milan, Italy, with my boyfriend Ronny.
We just bought a small but cute apartment together just outside Milan. When I'm not stressing
out at my day job (I work for a not so micro and not so soft software company) I dedicate as much
time as I can to one of the activities I love the most: photography. I was studying fine arts and
living in the Unites States 10 years ago when I first learned how to experiment with this medium.
I fell in love with the process and the camera which I stole from my dad in order to finish the
first class. I kept the camera and all my dad's equipment until a couple of years ago when I
discovered digital photography. I have been trying to get my photographs in the world participating
to contests and trying to create my own website but this year I decided to finally start a photoblog
in order to learn to share and be more courageous and secure about the kind of work I do.
My style varies depending on who and what inspires me. I love old black and white photography
(Henri Cartier-Bresson, Mario De Biasi, Gianni Berengo Gardin) but I also like to get inspired and
experiment a more modern style manipulating color and shapes in a way that only digital photography
allows (I think the images of David J. Nightingale are simply amazing).
